So it seems it really dependent on the actual country you are accessing the server from. So for me the NA server converts cheaper. So for me if I convert the price below to USD I would be paying USD$ 36.32.Ĭonverting the Euro price means I would pay TTD$ 351.56.
Not sure if its unique to me, but I usually have a 10 to 15% discount also given whenever I view the prices also.
Generally they will show the price in the local currency of the user so there will be an exchange rate difference baked in. I don't know what weird tax reasons exist to make the difference as pronounced as it's showing for you, nor guarantee you that it'll still be there after you switch servers or that there wouldn't be added taxes involved if you switch. After a lot of playing (and purchases including the anti-aircraft USS Atlanta) I managed to advance my little fleet nicely! When I came back to the US in January I could play both NA and EU because of my WoWS installation on my desktop.
But after a couple of months I had to reinstall Windows on that laptop, and when I tried to reinstall WoWS on the laptop, I couldn't make it point to the NA server because my IP address indicated that I was in the UK. While I was in the UK last year, at first I was able to play on the NA server because my laptop had been registered on that server, and was apparently hard-wired for it. Because my EU account has some nice ships that I don't have on my NA account, I'd like to sometimes play on the EU server while in the US. Because I spend part of the year in the US and part in the UK, I have an account in both places under the same email address.
